And so, Liza, an anagram of Zali, went from total-time mom and grandmother to total-time chef. Our chef is Lebanese-Armenian and has lived the majority of her everyday living in Lebanon. We simply call them “Mouneh”, an Arabic word for pantry provisions: a range of home made jars with preserved and dried delicacies for you to invest in and try. They are prepared by our chef or produced by farmers back again home. “Mouneh”is often a Lebanese tradition of preserving food through the seasons.
